Prayer Meetings

Join us every Tuesday night at 7:30 PM as we humble ourselves before the Lord , seeking His face and praying for the Holy Spirit to do His work in our lives, our church family and our community. (2 Chron. 7:14). There is time for individual prayer first and then we meet together to bring the church’s needs before the Lord. All ages are welcome.

The first Tuesday of the month is a prayer Zoom meeting, the rest are "in person". Please contact us for links to meetings.

Chosen Youth

Our youth group meets each Friday at 8:00 PM for those in 8th grade and up. Our Young adults meet every other Thursday at 7:00 PM.

We are committed to teaching the truth of God's word to provide the young people of this generation with a solid and unwavering foundation upon which they can build. We are often described as being a family - A Chosen family.

Led by a wonderful group of leaders, it is our number one goal to point each young person toward nurturing a personal relationship with Jesus and remaining faithful through the teen years and beyond - and we have a lot of fun doing it! "They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings-- and with Him will be His called, CHOSEN and faithful followers." Rev. 17:14

Sunday School

Classes are offered for all ages every Sunday at 10:30 AM. We have classes for adults, young adults , high school and children ages 4-12. We delve deep into the word of God using curriculum from the Gospel Publishing House. ( Classes are currently "on hold" during this season.)

Children's Ministry

In addition to Sunday School classes, the children of CABX meet twice a week, Fridays at 8:00PM  and Sundays at 11:15 AM . There are also outreaches throughout the year such as Vacation Bible School, Back to School Sunday and movie nights. The Holy Spirit is moving in the lives of our children as many have taken the step of baptism and are experiencing a true encounter with Jesus. The children are an integral and powerful arm of the church. Our desire is that each child will come to know Jesus personally as their Savior and be filled with His Spirit. "Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity." 1 Timothy 4:12

Meal Ministry / Outreach

Our Christian Assembly family has been an outreach of love to our neighbors and surrounding communities.  Our desire is to share the love of Jesus as we tend to people’s spiritual and physical needs. "Pop-Up pantries for the community, home-cooked meals & coat distributions are  among the various outreaches of CABX.

“ For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger and you invited me into your home ." Matthew. 25:35.

Worship /Band Ministry

The heartbeat of our ministry is to inspire people to encounter God. John 4:24 says that God is "seeking" or looking for true, authentic worshipers and this is the reason we desire to be a worshiping church. We want people to live a lifestyle of worship unto God on a daily basis, and we want to put Jesus at the center of our gatherings. Our worship team and musicians meet weekly to practice and pray . We believe that our worship is our warfare (Ephesians 6:12) and that God inhabits the praises of His people.

Women’s Ministries

The women gather together to worship, learn about Jesus and build stronger bonds through fellowship. Currently we are studying the Life of Gideon  . The women also attend yearly conferences and rallies through our IFCA community.   Come and get connected, the third Wed. of each month at 7:30 PM on ZOOM.  Please contact us for link to meetings.

Bible Study Groups

Every Friday night at 8:00 PM  the adults gather together to study God’s Word . Biblical topics are presented and discussed via both the written word and video series. Can't make it in person? Join us on Zoom!

Please contact us for links to meetings.  All are welcome!
